According to S&P Global, at the current rate we’re burning through copper…The 700 million tonnes of copper mined over the entirety of human history will need to be matched again by 2043[sup][2][/sup]…*All so that we can sustain modest global GDP growth of 3.5 percent annually.[sup][3][/sup]Think about that… All the copper mined in the entirety of human history…Will need to be mined in the next 2 decades. Or GDP could grind to a halt.
